FBL-510C Chevalier Slant Bed Lathes

 

CHEVALIER's FBL-500 Series slant bed lathes are stable, highly accurate machines that can handle rough and fine turning operations for large work pieces.

Structure:

This machine is a 45 slant bed design made by one piece Meehanite cast iron with wide span ribbed box structure. The four over size box ways are 130 mm in width and 80 mm in height provide strong stability and support. They are heat treated to Rockwell 55 degree and stress relieved.

Capacity:

The spindle bore diameter is 320 mm (12.59") that suits most oil Industry application. The maximum swing diameter is 40.5" and cutting diameter is 37". There are four different sizes of machine to choose: 40", 80", 120" and 160".  The special Z-axis ball screw support maintains high precision and stability.

Power:

The powerful 60 HP Spindle motor with 3-stage gearbox that generates 4,135 NM torque would satisfy most cutting condition of large diameter work pieces or tough material application.

Turret:

The massive 200 mm thick disk and hydraulic clamping of curvic coupling design ensure cutting stability during rough turning environment.

Accessories:

The optional programmable tailstock has a built-in MT-6 rotary quill. It has a better part's weight support than normal live center type of quill.

The factory made chip conveyor is standard equipment that guarantees best result of chips discharge.

Dual chuck easy access design provides convenience of loading and unloading longer part. 

Best of all, this model comes with powerful FANUC Oi-TD control and digital servo drive and motor.

This latest control provides most popular function within his standard features, such as rigid tap, multiple threads, plus the conversational Manual Guide I program.  It is most powerful and valuable control in its class.
