NEW VANGUARD 78” CNC VERTICAL TURNING LATHE MODEL TAC-20A

The Vanguard TAC-20A is based on Japanese engineering and is constructed of high-grade alloyed cast iron which is normalized and stress relieved to ensure maximum rigidity and stability.

 

The double column construction features a symmetrically centered table, high precision NSK cylindrical roller bearings and NSK angular thrust bearings. This ensuresheavy load capacity and high precision machining. The TAC 20A is an all box way design with the mated surfaces coated with fluroplastic resin liners to reduce frictional resistance and insure accurate positioning.

 

The TAC-20A features a robust hardened and ground steel square ram encased in a heavily ribbed saddle. The massive cross rail is accurately and easily positioned viadual hydraulic cylinders. The cross rail moves vertically andis precise and rigidly clamped hydraulically via precision ground shot pins. Vanguard VTL’s are designed and built using  proven manufacturing techniques, ultra rigid construction,  combined with stringent quality control measures make the Vanguard TAC-20A a superior machine and an exceptional value.
